NKP Ležáky is a national, semi-budgetary organization taking care of the lasting memory of the hamlet of Ležáky, which was exterminated by German Nazis on 24 June 1942.
NKP Ležáky fall under the administration of the Lidice Memorial.
During WWII, the former stonemasons' hamlet of Ležáky was used as a hiding place for paratroopers of the London-based SILVER A group and their radio station Libuše.
The hamlet met its fate on 24 June 1942 when raided by German Nazis. Except for two children, all inhabitants were murdered and the hamlet burnt down and razed to the ground.
