Czech Malin - Lidice of the Volhynian
Czechs This exhibition focuses on the history of the village Czech Malin, founded by a group of Czech immigrants in 1871 in what is today Ukrainian territory. On July 13th, 1943 the two villages of Czech Malin and Ukrainian Malin were surrounded by a German unit composed of 1500 men, resulting in the death of 374 Czechs and 26 Poles on the Czech Malin side.
